Reflections

This is my favourite picture - just taken this past Tuesday. To me it says a lot. It evokes a sense of anticipation, excitement and also sadness. We look before us at the vast opportunities. And as quickly as the wind changes, our lives change and takes us on different paths. But like the lake, we are one and still connected. The trees may sway in the wind and the waves may rise, but the roots in the foundation of the earth keep us grounded. We reflect on the past, the good times, the memories, the laughs. We wait for what tomorrow will bring. We share special moments in time that will not be forgotten. This one, like many others, are captured in this picture and in our hearts and minds and soul forever. We embrace the beauty that surrounds us and never let go of the beauty and love within.
